Dodge Painting Building

Named in honor of lead donors Lawrence and Kristina Dodge, the 34,000-square-foot Dodge Painting Building at 4446 Oak St. includes five studios, two drawing rooms, two classrooms, a combination gallery/lounge, courtyard, technology room, faculty offices, storage area, lockers and restrooms. The central structure, completed in 2006, is made of pre-case concrete, and the adjoining Atha and Kemper wings, which date to 1970, are constructed of steel. Copper and zinc define the southeast and south facades; metal work was done by the A. Zahner Company, Architectural Steel.
