We are grateful for our corporate and foundation partners. Providing a significant portion of the school’s funding, they are truly the pillars of support for the Kansas City Art Institute.
The investment these organizations are making in our students, faculty, programs and facilities directly impact the future of art and design in America, the creative culture in Kansas City, the economic health of this region and the lives of many talented young people who will go on to be leaders in their fields.
Corporations and foundations can support KCAI in several different ways: through the Corporate Partners program, through sponsorship of the annual fundraising event and through grant support.
Our Corporate Partners program offers a variety of opportunities for organizations to become more involved with students, faculty and alumni, including invitations to on-campus student exhibitions and sales, discounts on continuing education classes and a variety of recognition benefits.
Many organizations choose to support KCAI's scholarship fund through a gift to our annual fundraising event. This year’s event was the Art and Design Auction, which took place June 4. Sponsorship support provides organizations with an exciting evening of entertainment plus a unique and valuable marketing opportunity. There are several sponsorship levels to choose from as well as special sponsorship opportunities. Our next annual fundraising event will be the Art as Magic Gala, which will take place April 14. For more information on how to become a sponsor, contact Dawn Sparks at 816-802-3521 or dsparks@kcai.edu.
The Kansas City Art Institute offers a variety of projects amenable to specific grant funding. Needs range from special programs like children’s art classes or the college’s Community Arts and Service Learning (CASL) program to capital projects and technology and equipment needs. Requests for Proposals should be sent to Dawn Sparks at the Kansas City Art Institute, 4415 Warwick Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64111.
Consider this: 95 percent of our students receive financial aid. Your gift will support student scholarships and general operating support for the college. We invite you to donate online now.
