Studio departments at KCAI serve a vital role in students’ professional development by providing technical, professional and conceptual information that is specific to each discipline. The AACS augments the curriculum by bringing artists and other arts professionals to campus through the Professional Practice program.

Through the Professional Practic program, the AACS presents skill-building workshops, hosts alumni speakers, conducts one-on-one career advising and introduces students to professionals in areas of finance, business development, education, museum management, art criticism and public art. For more information about the Professional Practice program, contact Calder Kamin at ckamin@kcai.edu.
Presentations are held Thursdays from noon to 12:55 p.m. in Epperson Auditorium in Vanderslice Hall unless otherwise noted.
