International students must provide proof of ability to support themselves from their own resources while attending KCAI. Because United States federal government loans and grants are limited to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, international applicants will also need to submit financial documentation for one year's tuition, fees, room and board, and living expenses. In order to be issued an I-20, the U.S. Department of State requires that in order to be granted an F-1 visa, students must show proof of financial support for the first full academic year of study in the U.S.
