You will need to submit the following materials to your school’s Exchange Officer in order to be considered for acceptance into the Exchange Program.

  • Download and fill out the International Student Admission Information Form 
  • 1-2 page Statement of Purpose
  • Slides/Portfolio/Writing Sample
  • Transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable for admission as an exchange student)
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Statement of Finances
    • Approximately $7,050 for one semester
    • You can be accepted on exchange prior to submitting this document, but we cannot issue an I-20 until it has been received.
  • Proof of Health Insurance
    • You can be accepted on exchange prior to submitting this document, but we cannot issue an I-20 until it has been received.

 After your application for exchange has been reviewed by KCAI, you will be contacted by the International Studies Coordinator to inform you whether or not you have been accepted into the exchange program.

Deadlines:

In order to be considered for exchange, you should submit the required documentation to your school’s Exchange Officer no later than March 1 for a Fall Semester (August-December) exchange, or October 1 for a Spring Semester (January-May) exchange.
