Young Professionals Group

The YPG is the newest addition to the Kansas City Art Institute community. Formed in collaboration with Art Menke of Lathrop and Gage, young professionals have the opportunity to get involved in the art and design world while networking with their peers.

About YPG

Designed specifically for young professionals in the Kansas City metro area, the YPG is a volunteer based group. There are four YPG social meetings per year for networking and socializing, information about what the group is doing, and plans for the future. Friends are always welcome to join any meetings.

In the meantime, members are free to take advantage of the volunteer projects that are going on in conjunction with KCAI events and activities. Members of the YPG have the freedom to be as much or little involved as they choose to be. It's a great way to learn and experience art and design at all its levels.

March 18th gathering

Marshall Miller, of Miller & Co., spoke with the group once members had a chance to socialize and grab a drink. He described a little bit about the Art of the Car Concours last year and what's going on this year. Marshall, while a top international lawyer, is also one of Kansas City's finest car enthusiasts. He and a friend brought four of their vintage cars for members to see. Everyone had a great time and now we're looking forward to the Art of the Car Concours on June 28th after Masquerade.
