Catholic Charities of Kansas City has requested that we inform you about a young man it has in its care. Christon is a 17 year-old artist who is looking to be adopted by a loving family. Please read the notice and this link and share this information with all those who may be able to adopt Christon.

The Maryland Institute College of Art is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for the 2009 sessions of the Alfred & Trafford Klots Artist Residency Program at the Château in the village of Rochefort-en-Terre in Brittany, France.

The dates of the three four-week sessions in 2009 are:

Sunday, May 17 to Saturday, June 13

Sunday, June 14 to Saturday, July 11

Sunday, July 12 to Saturday, August 8

Competitive residencies are open to artists working in any media and to writers. More information is available at www.mica.edu/rochefortresidency. The residency application deadline is January 9, 2009.
