The Art Institute's biennial Art and Design Auction is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the legacy of KCAI, contribute to your KCAI community, and most importantly support the talented young artists and designers studying at the Kansas City Art Institute now and in the future. All proceeds from the Auction go to the student scholarship fund.

The Maryland Institute College of Art is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for the 2009 sessions of the Alfred & Trafford Klots Artist Residency Program at the Château in the village of Rochefort-en-Terre in Brittany, France.
The dates of the three four-week sessions in 2009 are:
Sunday, May 17 to Saturday, June 13
Sunday, June 14 to Saturday, July 11
Sunday, July 12 to Saturday, August 8
Competitive residencies are open to artists working in any media and to writers. More information is available at www.mica.edu/rochefortresidency. The residency application deadline is January 9, 2009.
