1st Annual Distinguished Alumni Speaker, Nathan Mabry with student Robert Heishman
 
The "2008 Annual B.F.A. Exhibition" featured work by nearly 100 candidates for the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Kansas City Art Institute, majoring in Art History, Animation, Ceramics, Creative Writing, Digital Filmmaking, Graphic Design,  Interdisciplinary, Fiber, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture, with works featured on both floors of the Artspace and outside. The exhibition was organized by Heather Lustfeldt, assistant curator of exhibitions and collections, and the Artspace.
