Mike Weikert is founder and director of two programs at the Maryland Institute College of Art: The master of arts in social design program and the Center for Design Practice. His appearance at KCAI is sponsored by KCAI's graphic design department.

In addition to his work at MICA, Weikert has his own design studio in Baltimore, Weikert Design, and serves as an advisor to Project M, an international social design initiative committed to helping young designers use their skills to create positive change in the world.

The lecture will take place in Epperson Auditorium, which is located in Vanderslice Hall on the KCAI campus. The event is free and open to the public.
