Shawn Spangler's appearance tonight is sponsored by the KCAI ceramics department. Spangler earned an M.F.A. degree from Alfred University in New York and recently completed a residency at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia. He is a visiting assistant professor at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill. Learn more about the artist and his work.

The lecture will take place in Epperson Auditorium, which is located in Vanderslice Hall on the KCAI campus. The event is free and open to the public.
