Important Information for CPS students

The School for Continuing and Professional Studies is located at 108 E. 43rd St. All students (excluding certificate program students) should check in at this location on the first day of class. You will be issued an access badge and may then proceed to your class location.

From the northwest or KCI airport

Take I-29 south to downtown KC area; continue on highway 71 south; exit at Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard and turn right onto Cleaver II Boulevard; travel west to Oak Street; turn right on Oak Street; take first left onto 45th Street; street curves to the right and turns into Warwick Boulevard. KCAI is on your right.

From the northeast

Take I-35 south to downtown KC area; merge onto I-29 south and continue on highway 71 south; exit at Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard and turn right onto Cleaver II Boulevard; travel west to Oak Street; turn right on Oak Street; take first left onto 45th Street; street curves to the right and turns into Warwick Boulevard. KCAI is on your right.

From the east

Take I-70 west to I-35/670 south; once past the downtown area continue on I-35 south and take the Broadway Exit (left lane); travel south on Broadway to 43rd Street; turn left on 43rd Street; continue on 43rd Street across Main Street; right on Warwick Boulevard.

From the west

Take I-70 east to I-670 east to I-35 south; take the Broadway exit (left lane); travel south on Broadway to 43rd Street; turn left on 43rd Street; continue on 43rd Street across Main Street; right on Warwick Boulevard.

From the southeast

Take I-35 north to the highway 50/56 Shawnee Mission Parkway exit and turn right; travel east on Shawnee Mission Parkway; continue across State Line Road; Shawnee Mission Parkway becomes Ward Parkway; stay in one of left three lanes as road curves left (north) and turns into Roanoke Parkway/Madison Avenue; turn right onto 43rd Street; continue on 43rd Street across Main St.; right on Warwick Boulevard.

From the southwest

From northbound highway 71 exit at Swope Parkway/US-56 W; go left (west) on Swope Parkway; Swope Pkwy becomes Volker Boulevard; turn right on Oak Street; turn left at 45th Street; street curves right and turns into Warwick Boulevard; KCAI is on your right.
