Online Classes

If you're like most people today, you are thinking about upgrading some of your skills. Perhaps your resume or portfolio need  freshening up, or you want to strengthen a skill that’s become outdated. Maybe you just want to take a quick class to see what Photoshop is all about. Like most people, your busy life prevents you from enrolling in a traditional “face-to-face” course.

That’s where online learning comes in. Even if you’ve never taken an online class before and are slightly intimidated by the thought of it, you will find these courses to be high quality, easily accessible and very affordable. It's a good place to get your feet wet with online learning and discover for yourself why this learning method has become so popular. If you have taken online classes before, you will find our variety and numerous offerings an excellent choice for continuing your education at a time and place that’s most convenient for you.

The Kansas City Art Institute contracts with Ed2Go to bring you instructor-facilitated online courses that are informative, fun, convenient and highly interactive. Instructors are known for their ability to create warm and supportive communities of learners. It's no wonder that friendships have formed in our lively and intelligent discussion areas.

All courses run for six weeks, with a two-week grace period at the end. Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links and more. You can complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office at any time of the day or night.

Most classes through the Kansas City Art Institute are currently priced at $89, but we need to let you know that starting in January 2010, the per-class cost is scheduled to increase to $95.
