Why KCAI?

Mission statement: As part of the Kansas City Art Institute and by serving a broad community of learners, we encourage and cultivate exploration of the art and design world through personal and professional development.

 

The School for Continuing and Professional Studies understands the challenges of taking classes on top of the rest of life’s busy schedule, so we have convenient class times including daytime, evening, weekend and extended summer options.

The school has special opportunities for art educators, for high-school students thinking about majoring in art and design in college and for professionals and part-time students interested in certificate programs in topics such as multimedia studies and desk-top publishing.

In addition, the School for Continuing and Professional Studies now has two locations to better serve the community – our main campus at 4415 Warwick Blvd. in midtown Kansas City and our Northland campus, just five minutes from downtown over the Broadway Bridge, at 1801 N.W. Platte Rd., Suite 275 in Riverside, Mo.
