We are currently seeking applicants for a full time unarmed Safety and Security Officer position. Safety and Security Officers patrol the campus and other properties and performs basic safety and security services. This full-time Safety and Security Officer position pays $20,014. per year and comes with an excellent benefits package, generous holiday schedule, and 3 weeks of vacation a year.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to express oneself and communicate well both orally and in writing to all members of the campus community; a basic knowledge of criminal law and traffic violations; basic qualifications in first aid; skill in basic interviewing techniques; skill in use of police equipment; honesty and integrity; tolerance; leadership; good judgment; ability to maintain strong organizational and interpersonal skills; must be pleasant, courteous and maintain a professional attitude and presence; ability to resolve conflicts; ability to work when required. Must successfully pass the Kansas City Police Department Private Security License Test. All finalists will be required to take a drug test.
