Fisher is a member of the long-running Illinois-based group Temporary Services. Since 1998, Temporary Services has produced more than 75 publications and organized or participated in dozens of exhibitions, projects and events. Learn more.
The KCAI sculpture department will host its annual off-campus exhibition starting March 4 with a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. at City Ice Arts Center, 2029 Campbell St., in the former City Ice Building.
An all-department critique will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 9.
The exhibition will remain on view through March 26, and a closing celebration will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. March 25.
The show will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 5 and March 26 (Saturdays) as well as by appointment (816-802-3413 or kmccoy@kcai.edu).

"Current Perspectives" lecture with Keetra Dean Dixon.

Dixon is a designer and artist who works under the handle "FromKeetra." She has been featured in numerous publications and has spoken and exhibited widely. Recent works utilize typographic messaging partnered with material studies as an investigation into the fallibility of communication, understanding and intention. Learn more.
The mid-semester break begins today and continues through March 20. Classes will not be held, but administrative offices will be open except on Monday, March 14, when offices, too, will be closed.

Born in 1961 in Indonesia, Ang was raised and educated in the Netherlands. Most of his works incorporate footage taken during his nomadic travels throughout the world. Learn more.

Sack lives and works in Philadelphia, where she is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of the Arts. Learn more.
