ArtSounds presents "HEADSinTALES."
7:30 p.m.
Epperson Auditorium
"One, probability is a factor which operates within natural foces. Two, probability is not operating as a factor. Three, we are now within un-, sub- or supernatural forces. Discuss."
Featuring the members of "Creative Collaboration," a UMKC Conservatory class drawing from departments at UMKC and KCAI.
Representing the absurdity of a world where technology overwhelms humanity, "HEADSinTALES" follows this thought through its permutations to the utmost extremes and back in a series of strange loops and reflective systems.
ArtSounds is a series where composers, performers and visual artists join together to present a series of performances. Initiated by faculty from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and the Kansas City Art Institute, ArtSounds explores cross-media expression through creative concert-making. Faculty partners from each institution produce provocative events that explore a maximum breadth of means, methods, media and music: art sounds and music sees.
