Table Hosting Terms:

Table hosting requires filling a table of 10 at the patron level. Only individuals confirmed by host/hostess before the event will be seated at a hosted table. Payment* in full or a pledge reserves the table under the table host’s preferred name. The $3,750 pledge made by the table host is considered a binding commitment regardless of whether or not all 10 seats are filled. Table placement will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis once the payment or pledge is received.

Names and addresses (please include e-mail addresses if available) of table guests must be provided by the table host before Jan. 15, 2010 in order for your guests to receive patron party invitations.
           
* Should you wish your guest(s) to pay directly for their own seating at your assembled table ($375 each), they may send their checks or credit card information to the Kansas City Art Institute, 4415 Warwick Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64111, Attn: Advancement Department.  Indicate the table host name with payment.

Each of the following special sponsorship opportunities will be awarded to only one sponsor.

Nick Cave ’82 Gala Performance - $25,000
The gala’s main event – a stunning show and one-of-a kind stage performance featuring the creative talents
of renowned KCAI alumnus Nick Cave. The performance will incorporate Cave’s unique Soundsuit sculptures
with music, dance and visual graphics.   
    •    Performance listed as “sponsored by” in print and radio ads
    •    Reserved table for 10 at event; 10 patron party tickets
    •    Reserved VIP seating for performance
    •    Special recognition in event invitation*, logo in event printed program and on KCAI Web site
    •    Logo signage on performance stage
    •    Verbal recognition in the president’s welcoming address

Gourmet Dinner - $15,000

Guests will be impressed with the decadent duel entrée’ meal and artistic presentation of the evening’s gourmet dinner. 
    •    Reserved table for eight at event; eight patron party tickets
    •    Reserved VIP seating for performance
    •    Special recognition in event invitation*, logo in event printed program and on KCAI Web site
    •    Logo recognition on all tables
    •    Verbal announcement “dinner sponsored by” during the event

Cocktail Hour - $10,000
    •    Reserved seating for six at event; six patron party tickets
    •    Reserved VIP seating for performance
    •    Special logo recognition in event printed program and on KCAI Web site
    •    Logo or name printed on beverage napkins and logo signage on all bars
    •    Listing as donor at Major Underwriter level in event invitation*
With optional signature drink for an additional $2,500 donation includes:
    •    Signature drink named after sponsor served at all bars
    •    Drink recipe on back of sponsor-provided business cards given to guests with signature drink

Gala Printed Program - $7,500
An important aspect of any performance event and a keepsake guests retain long after the evening has passed.

For an elegant and enchanting evening, the event’s ambiance will include lush table décor, professional lighting and a unique setting to help create a memorable night for all who attend.
