The 2010 Concours event featured 186 vintage automobiles, race cars, trucks, fire trucks, motorcycles and bicycles dating from the early 1900s. Many were shown for the first time by collectors who never or rarely participate in other Concours. Winners from Amelia Island and Pebble Beach Concours were among the vehicles on view at the Art of the Car Concours, which has received favorable local and national publicity. The 2010 Concours featured President Woodrow Wilson’s 1919 Pierce-Arrow Limousine. The car, which has been restored to full working order, is owned by the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum in Staunton, Va.

Pictured above: Marshall Miller, chairman and founder of the Art of the Car Concours, and Kathleen Collins, president of KCAI, present the coveted People's Choice Award, given to the top five vote-getters. The ceramic "dashboard" was created by artist and KCAI alumna Julie Malen ('09 ceramics).
At least 30 awards are determined by Concours sponsors and guests, including the popular "People's Choice" Awards, Sponsors Awards and President's and Chairman"s Awards. A hallmark of the event is the tradition of presenting awards created by KCAI students and faculty.
Below are three of the awards that were presented at the 2010 Art of the Car Concours. The Import Award (left) was commissioned for Aristocrat Motors to present. The other awards, including the Leon Miller Award (right), were commissioned for chairman Marshall Miller to present.
