KCAI scholarships

 

To be considered for these scholarships students must apply for admission and submit all required materials by the deadlines. 

 

KCAI Competitive Scholarships

 

Competitive Scholarship competition is for students of exceptional artistic and academic ability. Applicants must meet the following requirements: 3.0 (out of 4.0) cumulative grade point average and ACT composite score of 20 or SAT combined score of 1425. Transfer students must talk with their admissions counselor for more details.

Freshman Competitive Scholarships
January 15 postmark deadline
Participants who are not selected to receive a Competitive Scholarship will be immediately evaluated for Merit Award consideration.

Transfer Competitive Scholarships
February 15 postmark deadline

 

KCAI Merit Awards  

 

KCAI Merit Awards are open to all first time freshmen and foundation students and transfer students. To be considered for a merit award you must have a successful portfolio evaluation, a 3.0 (out of 4.0) cumulative grade point average and ACT composite score of 20 or SAT combined score of 1425.

Freshman Merit Scholarships
January 15 - first postmark deadline
February 15 - second postmark deadline
March 15 - third and final postmark deadline

 

KCAI need-based scholarship  

 

The KCAI need based scholarship is awarded to students who have been admitted to the Institute and show financial need. Students must have completed the FAFSA and the results must be on file in the financial aid office. Students must talk with their admissions counselor for more detail.
