Graphic Design
The graphic design major at KCAI anticipates contemporary professional demands in the field today and will expose students to professional practices, skills and concepts required to enter the field and build a rewarding career.
The major is formulated to differentiate graphic design as a distinct discipline and to better reflect and anticipate the actual evolving conditions of high-level professional practice in this field worldwide.
Graduates work in a variety of specializations, including traditional print media, magazine and book design, poster design, corporate communications, annual report design, identity systems and branding, retail packaging, exhibition and environmental design. In addition, electronic media create a wealth of design opportunities, such as broadcast television graphics, film titles, e-commerce systems, Web sites, CD-ROM presentations, software interfaces and games.
