What should I expect when my student attends KCAI?

As parents of a KCAI student, expect to see your son or daughter challenged, perhaps more than they ever have been before. They will be challenged by small but rigorous classes and caring yet demanding professors. Expect to hear about wonderful experiences as your student attends freshman orientation, visits the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art or goes to First Friday gallery openings in downtown Kansas City. Expect to share their excitement when they have the opportunity to exhibit their work at a local gallery, when they land an impressive internship or when they study overseas. You will come to expect the unexpected. When your son or daughter experiences the integration of intellect and imagination, anything can happen.
