Registration

All courses require advance enrollment. Only registered and paid students may attend classes.

Students may register by fax, in person, mail or by phone. Please print and complete the registration form via the link in the gray box to the left. Tution and fees must be paid to hold a space in class.

Form of payment: cash, check, money order or credit card (MasterCard, AMEX, Discover and Visa.)

The Continuing Education office is in the Vanderslice Hall (4415 Warwick Street) on the KCAI campus. Office hours are Monday and Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Tues-Thurs. 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Enrollment Requirements & Addendums

Continuing Education courses are held contingent on a minimum enrollment. Students are strongly encouraged to register for courses as soon as they receive their brochure, as many classes may fill early. Conversely, a course may be cancelled due to lack of enrollment, and inquiries for the course often come after the cancellation; timely registration helps keep a chosen class open. If sufficient registrations are not received by three business days before a class start, the course will be cancelled. For classes with sufficient enrollment, registrations will be accepted until 4 pm the day of the second class meeting.

Enrollment in class signifies that you give permission to KCAI to use any photographs of you or your artwork to promote the Art Institute. No names will be used unless permission is received.

NOTE: We are not able to confirm class starts. We will call you only if there is a class cancellation or a change, so please mark class dates on your calendar and plan to attend unless you hear from us.
