Computer Animation Intensive HIAN 118-01-SU
Love to draw and design and want to see your imagery MOVE? Since Flash files use vector graphics they are lightweight and easy to work with on your own computer, and they're easy to upload to the Internet. Bring your passion to learn to make technologically savvy art. Bring a pencil, notebook and flash drive to class, all other supplies included. At the end of the class you will take your digital drawing tablet home to continue your art!

Digital Art Intensive HIPA 120-01-SU NEW
Here is the way of the future for illustration and design. Draw and design with color, pattern and strong composition — all on your computer! You will create with the aid of a drawing tablet, adjust your digital photos, collage your imagery, compose text, PLUS understand how to prep your digital art for Web or print. We will upload your art to the Internet, and you will also create your own files (saved to your flash drive) suited to printing at home or a printing service. At the end of the class you will take your digital drawing tablet home to continue your art!

Drawing Intensive for Your Portfolio XYPH 035-41-SU NEW
Build the basics required for a strong college portfolio. We will focus on observational drawing, building, self portraits and still life compositions — the basics every college wants to see in a portfolio. Get ready to impress the college review panels!
Date: 1 week, July 20 - July 24
Time: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (lunch 12 - 1 p.m.) Cost: $229 + $20 materials fee

Fashion Design Intensive HFIB 110-01-SU
This intensive focuses on the creative aspects of fashion design. A series of assignments will challenge you to employ nontraditional techniques for the creation of apparel. Sewing skills will be helpful but are not necessary. An exhibition will be held at the conclusion. Most supplies are included, though you may wish to buy additional fabric. In addition, each student must bring a pair of 8-inch sewing sheers and see-through ruler.

Painting Intensive HIPA 110-01-SU
For ambitious high school juniors and seniors with prior visual art experience, spend an intensive week immersed in pursuit of painting and realize your personal, contemporary vision as you build your portfolio. Full days of painting will be divided between color mixing and theory with perceptual projects. Previous beginning art courses and experience with painting is recommended. Examples from your new body of paintings will be exhibited at the conclusion. Supplies included.

Traditional Animation Intensive HIAN 110-01-SU
Find out what it takes to become an animator. Whether you enjoy the narrative or the experimental, this course offers the ability to create highly engaging work in the field of animation. Using hands-on mediums, you will become part of a creatively charged environment that furthers your artistic skill sets and brings your ideas to life. You and your fellow artists are here for the same reason —to see your art move. Bring a sketchbook and pencil to class, all other supplies included.
