Academic support services
Students enrolled at KCAI have a range of learning styles and abilities. A learning specialist helps students gain a more complete understanding of individual learning styles, skills, strengths and weaknesses to cope with the greater demands of college courses. Assistance is available through study groups and one-on-one tutoring sessions to improve students' reading, writing, study, testing and time-management skills. Students are encouraged to develop a healthy balance between the various aspects of their lives, and suggestions are provided for developing skills for self-advocacy. Support is available for the particular needs of students whose first language is not English.
