Ann Johnson will be on campus the week of September 18-22 as a visiting artist, collaborating with printmaking and sculpture students to produce work and will return the week of October 23-27 for installation and the opening of her exhibition, Visibly Unseen, on Thursday, October 26 at the KCAI Gallery. Together, Ann and the students will work with paper, wire, and string to create round "nests". Students will have the opportunity to create printed portraits of themselves that will inhabit the nested forms using photo silkscreen, photo engraving, photolithography, and/or cyanotype methods of printing.
